Teams of high schoolers are given 6 weeks to design, build, and program a robot capable of playing a challenging field game with and against other teams and robots. Combining the excitement of sport with the rigors of science and technology gives students the opportunity to participate in the “ultimate sport for the mind”. The First Robotics Competition involves approximately 3650 teams and over 90,000 participants!
